Furious 7

Published: Last Updated on

One last ride. This was the motto for the latest installment of the Fast and Furious franchise, and is one that perfectly describes what this film was all about. In the movie, we get to enjoy watching the late Paul Walker in his last film he worked on before his untimely and unfortunate death two years ago. Although the actor only completed 85 percent of his scenes, Universal Pictures and Director James Wan did an amazing job with the use of technology and rewriting the script to help finish the film in remembrance of Walker.

In the seventh chapter of this multi-billion dollar franchise, we see the team including Brian O’Connor (Walker), Dominic Torreto (Vin Diesel), Letty Ortiz (Michelle Rodriguez) and others fight to keep themselves safe against an individual named Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham), who has made it his purpose to hunt them all down after they badly hurt his brother Owen Shaw, who was the enemy in the sixth film. Although it was by no means the best film in the franchise, in comparison to my favorite which was “Fast Five,” this film did an amazing job with the adversity it faced in losing one of its lead characters before its completion. The ending to the film literally had me in tears when it paid a tribute to Walker, and I enjoyed every moment from beginning to end. If you have not seen this film yet, but have seen any of the other installments, I highly recommend seeing this film as soon as possible.
