>> The Head and the Heart played in Louisville, Ky., at the Iroquois Amphitheater on Thursday, Sept. 25. The Iroquois Amphitheater is an outdoor venue and holds more than 2,000 people. I enjoyed the location much more than most small venues I have been to because it was still general admission but with seats. This was the third The Head and the Heart concert I have been to, and it was by far the best. The band is indie folk and was very high-energy throughout the entire concert. The band opened with one of its most recent songs, “Shake,” setting the bar high for an amazing show the rest of the night. My personal favorite member of the band, Charity Rose Thielen, was even better than in the previous year. She has unbelievable vocals and adds an interesting addition to the band with her amazing skills on violin. The music swept me away for the night and let me forget about any stress. This concert was one that I will definitely keep in my memory for the remainder of my concert-going days.
