Republicans have gained control of the United States Senate, currently projected to gain two seats, giving them 51 out of 100 seats, according to the Associated Press.

12:04 a.m. ET: Midnight Update

Polls have closed in Hawaii. The race is tightening up; Trump has 230 projected electoral votes with 51% of the popular vote. Harris has 205 projected electoral votes with 47.6% of the popular vote, according to the Associated Press

In Indiana, 76.7% of precincts are reporting, according to the Indiana Election Division. Republicans win a majority of seats in Indiana including gubernatorial, house and senate races.

Donald Trump is projected to win the battleground state of North Carolina, according to the Associated Press

11 p.m. ET: All polls in contiguous U.S. closed, Trump did better than Braun in Indiana

Polls have closed in California, Idaho, Oregon and Washington. Trump still leads the electoral college with 210 projected votes and 52.5% of the popular vote. Harris has 113 projected electoral votes with 46.2% of the popular vote, according to the Associated Press


Sen. Mike Braun is performing worse than Donald Trump in Indiana. Among Hoosiers, Trump currently sits at 58.7% and Braun currently sits at 54.3% according to IndyStar.

10:00 p.m. ET: Polls close and gubernatorial election update

Polls have closed in three states, including the battleground state of Nevada. Trump is still in the lead with 188 projected electoral votes and 52.3% of the popular vote. Harris has 99 projected electoral votes with 46.5% of the popular vote, according to the Associated Press

Braun is still winning the race for Indiana Governor, with 54.3% of reported Hoosier’s votes going to him according to the Indiana Election Division.

9:18 p.m. ET: Andre Carson wins reelection

Democrat Andre Carson has won reelection to the U.S. House for Indiana’s 7th Congressional District according to the Associated Press.

9:00 p.m. ET: Polls close in 15 states including three battlegrounds

Polls have closed in 15 states including the battleground states of Arizona, Michigan and Wisconsin. Trump is currently leading the electoral college with 101 projected votes, with Harris trailing behind at 71 projected votes, according to the Associated Press. They are reporting Trump is winning the popular vote by 3,350,390. .

Polls are now closed in 16 states including Illinois and the battleground state of Pennsylvania.

7:00 p.m. ET: Polls close in all of Indiana

All polls have closed in the states of Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, South Carolina, Vermont and Virginia. Most polls in Florida are also closed. Trump currently leads the presidential election with 61.1% of the popular vote in Indiana and Braun currently leads the Indiana gubernatorial election with 57.4% of the popular vote according to NBC News.
