UIndy Men’s and Women’s Basketball to start on Nov. 24

It is now official that the University of Indianapolis and the rest of the GLVC will have basketball starting on Nov. 24, according to UIndy Athletics. The GLVC Council of Presidents voted unanimously on Oct. 6 to resume play and practice for both Men’s Basketball and Women’s Basketball. 

The sports will be GLVC only and it will be a 22-game season with the teams in the GLVC divided into three, five-team divisions, with UIndy being in the East Division. Each school will play 11 home and away games. The GLVC tournament is currently set to be played in March and it will consist of the top eight teams.

Spectators will be prohibited from attending games and only essential personnel will be allowed at the contests, according to UIndy Athletics.

Dec. 3: Home vs. Lewis

Dec. 5: Away at McKendree

Dec. 18: Away at Illinois Springfield

Dec. 20: Home vs. Southern Indiana 

Jan. 3, 2021: Away at Quincy

Jan. 6: Away at Southwest Baptist

Jan. 9: Away at Missouri St. Louis

Jan. 14: Home vs. McKendree

Jan. 16: Away at. Southern Indiana

Jan. 23: Away at Lewis

Jan. 28: Away at Illinois Springfield

Jan. 30: Home vs. Quincy

Feb. 4: Away at Truman

Feb. 6: Away at William Jewell

Feb. 11: Home vs. Rockhurst

Feb. 13: Home vs. Southwest Baptist

Feb. 18: Away at Drury

Feb. 20: Away at Missouri S&T
