What are your thoughts on your career at UIndy as a whole?

“I had two major goals before I came here. One was to win the Team National Championship and another was to win the Individual National Championship. I was able to achieve both of these last year. Before I came here, I never thought that the academics would be very important to me, but after my first semester, I realized that I had picked just the right major for me. I was incredibly fortunate to have some of the best professors with an incredible amount of knowledge teach me.”

What are your thoughts on your career at UIndy as a whole?

Looking back at the last four years, I am happy with how my career went because I would have never imagined to be in this position with an amazing group of girls four years later. The team is on its way to great places and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for this team.

What kind of impact has playing a sport had on your college experience?

Playing a sport at UIndy and being apart of the Men’s Lacrosse team has played a huge impact on my college experience. We are a family of guys who all came here from different states, and countries but now we are best friends and get to experience college together. The friendships and relationships I’ve made with my brothers here for the past 4 years is amazing.

What is your advice for younger student athletes?

My advice for younger student athletes…Don’t get discouraged. You will have bad practices and you will have bad meets/games. Use those opportunities to learn and grow. And stop worrying about what others are doing, and stressing about things that are out of your control. Focus on yourself and become the best ‘you’ that you can be.”
