Mass Effect 2 pushes the limits of gaming with stellar visuals and masterfully crafted storytelling.
The explosive sequel to BioWare’s 2008’s sci-fi hit continues in its predecessor’s footsteps by allowing the player to customize their character’s appearance, background and personality while giving you the power to decide their fate.
You reprise the role of Commander Shepard, who must assemble a team of various characters to aid him in investigating the disappearance of several human colonies. The most innovative feature is the player’s ability to load their character from the original game in to the sequel.
Decisions made in the first game, characters that died and the game’s outcome will all affect the game play of Mass Effect 2. If you haven’t played Mass Effect you are still able to play the sequel with the default storyline and character.
Mass Effect 2 surpasses it competitors and I completely agree with TIME Magazine when they declared, “it’s the Avatar of video games — except it’s better written.”
