In typical country style, Tim McGraw’s new album, “Southern Voice,” delivers twangy guitar rifts accompanied by love-themed lyrics. The first two singles, “Southern Voice” and “It’s Business Doing Pleasure With You” rocked the pop charts with catchy beats and nonsensical lyrics. However, tracks such as “Still” and “Mr. Whoever You Are” slow down the album with heartwarming melodies that seemed destined to become an instant country classic. “Southern Voice” was released Oct. 20, the first CD after a series of Greatest Hits albums. Tim McGraw, a 17-year country veteran, still knows how to capture his audience and deliver catchy, country-pop tracks that rock the Billboard Charts.
