Franz Ferdinand is back with their third album “Tonight: Franz Ferdinand”. The lyrics are simple, easy and fun to sing along with; however, they lack much content. “Well I’m bored, I’m bored, come on let’s get high…,” are words from the opening song Ulysses. It’s not going to be the lyrics that get a lot of attention paid to them. The CD has more of a dance sound to it than the previous two which no fan will be able to listen to without even tapping their toes. Synthesizers, keyboards and more are used to make this CD fast-paced. The track Lucid Dreams is almost 8 minutes with more than half of it music. The last two songs Dream Again and Katherine Kiss Me are much slower than the rest of the CD. Katherine Kiss Me sounds much like a soft-paced ballad bringing the CD to a nice close.
