The midnight screening I attended of “Quantum of  Solace’ had so many UIndy students present one would think LP credit was being given out. But I digress. The latest Bond thriller is a sad letdown. It picks up just minutes after the last one ended, and bounces from Italy to Haiti to Austria to Bolivia. Daniel Craig is still invigorating in the role. This is a Bond in the act of inventing himself, a Bond that bleeds. But the new Bond girl, Olga Kurylenko,  is lame, and the theme song leaves something to be desired. Director Marc Forster gets too caught up in overdone action. “Casino Royale” made pauses to develop great characters, even in a game of poker, but here it’s all convoluted. The demons that plague Bond are still seen all over his face, but never allowed to spring forth. And you thought Indiana Jones was a letdown…
