Homecoming 2009: ‘Hounds victorious

The 'Hounds took on the Tiffin Dragons on Oct. 24 at Key Stadium. UIndy was victorious in the Homecoming game, winning 21-17.

After a win against Michigan Tech on Oct. 17, the Greyhounds played their last home game of the season against conference-foe, the Tiffin University Dragons on Oct. 24. Tiffin entered Div. II athletics last season, where they had suffered a 12-57 loss to the ‘Hounds. This season the Dragons came back to again face UIndy with a 0-8 season record. Read more
New playbook not enough

The ‘Hounds are on track to have another losing season after a 1-5 start. Despite instating a new offensive formation, head coach Joe Polizzi and his team are tied for last in the GLIAC standings.

Football family affair

University of Indianapolis students Annemarie and Ben Polizzi have been a part of the Greyhound football family their whole lives. Their father, Joe Polizzi, has been the head coach of the ‘Hounds for 15 years.
